Our Services

We offer discounts for multiple children in the same session. Children must be of a similar age/grade, and can be siblings, cousins, or simply friends! This is great for homeschooling communities. There is no set discount rate. Let's talk!

Please note: A child does not necessarily have to be dyslexic in order to receive support in any of these programs! They are amazing for any struggling reader.

Build, Take Flight, and Jet are written by Scottish Rite for Children, and are based on the Orton-Gillingham approach. Each lesson incorporates the 5 components of effective reading instruction.  

Each program is taught using these principles:

• Systematic and cumulative - instruction must be logical and build from the easiest to the most difficult material

• Explicit - learning cannot be assumed, it must be directly and explicitly taught

• Diagnostic - instruction is based on regular assessment of the student and what he/she needs to be successful

Dyslexia programs are generally multisensory. Instruction is best when it includes visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile approaches (VAKT). Research has proven that when a student is moving his/her body and connecting the learning through muscle movements, more learning is retained. Therefore, dyslexia programs incorporate multisensory approaches to assist the child with mastering and retaining the information taught.
